The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team working on a variety of projects for Scottish Water and its Delivery Partners. S/he will be supporting the Team Leader in water treatment, supply and strategy development projects, mainly for Scottish Water. As such, the candiate may be called upon to act as Civil Engineering Project Manager for water projects, on either design or strategic studies, and to line manage and lead a team of Graduates and Technicians. Design duties will include water retaining structures and water treatment process design. Experience should include exposure to a range of water engineering solutions. Hydraulic design experience, including water supply modelling, would be particularly advantageous.

Applicants should have previous working experience that includes involvement with the lifecycles of projects, and be working towards I.Eng/C.Eng status. There is potential for future secondment to Scottish Water for short periods.
